CASE STUDY: EDUCATION | UC SAN DIEGO DESIGN LAB
As the head of the new design department at UC San Diego, international design-thinking icon, former Apple computer executive and godfather of UX (User Experience), Don Norman needed the expertise and manpower of a communications firm. In 2017, Norman reached out to ChamberlaynePR to communicate department successes and research to garner attention around the world. Working hand-in-hand with UC San Diego leadership and Design Lab faculty and staff, ChamberlaynePR improved their communications strategy, messaging and operations. Utilizing existing staff and resources, the ChamberlaynePR team developed newsworthy events, campaigns, pitches, news releases, and print and electronic materials including newsletters, social media to build a powerful, cohesive brand.
